Readings for your rotation are below. Rotation expectations and your schedule will be sent to you via email 1-2 weeks before your start date. Please contact Libby (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you have not received this.

These readings are required and cover the high-yield topics that will be important when you are in the clinic. You are expected to have completed these readings on your first day.
Sports Medicine Rotation
Generally speaking, concussion/TBI are the most common cases we see followed by pediatric overuse injuries, pediatric fractures, and a variety of other musculoskeletal (MSK) injuries.

Recommended Readings Sports Medicine Rotation
Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Rotation
In this rotation, you will primarily see ultrasound guided injection and ultrasound diagnostics for musculoskeletal injuries.
You will have the opportunity to see concussion patients with Dr. Minor, so watching our VOMS and other concussion exam videos on youtube is highly recommended.
These readings are not required, but are good supplemental resources.
