Leslie Streeter, FNP-C

Leslie is a board-certified nurse practitioner. She received her undergraduate degree in nursing from the University of Arizona. After working as a school nurse, she returned to the University of Arizona and graduated with a Doctorate of Nursing Practice. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and Sigma Theta Tau International, an international nursing honor society. Her medical areas of interest include concussion care, musculoskeletal injury prevention and treatment, and health issues affecting female athletes.

As an avid distance runner for more than 40 years she has experience with various injuries associated with repetitive movement and over training. She has experience working with young athletes, having coached various elementary and Jr. High cross-country teams. As a coach, she focused on proper nutrition, training, shoes, and biomechanics to prevent injuries.

Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Leslie helped launch and manage an online biking business with her husband. Her greatest accomplishment is raising six children. She has lived in Tucson for over 35 years. She enjoys reading, running, hiking, mountain biking, and spending time with her family. She is excited for the opportunity to work with the wonderful staff and providers at SPARCC.
